(Mature Teens +) When Hollywood It Boy, Reid Alexander, arrives on location, his intentions are simple: film another blockbuster hit while enjoying his celebrity status to the fullest. His costar is a virtual unknown with whom he has blazing hot chemistry, and the universe is lining up nicely to grant whatever he wants - until he's confronted with a bitter ex-girlfriend and a rival for the first girl to spark his genuine interest in years.

Emma Pierce just got her big break after more than a decade of filming commercials for grape juice, department stores and tampons, and bit parts in made-for-TV movies. Nailing the lead role in a wide-release film should send her into raptures. But Emma is experiencing a building desire to be normal, and starring in a silly, modernized adaptation of one of her favorite novels--opposite the very hot Reid Alexander--isn't going to advance that aspiration.

Indie actor Graham Douglas isn't overly picky when it comes to film roles. If it pays, he'll do it. Besides, his friend Brooke Cameron snatched up the role of the bitchy hot girl and could use his help as a buffer, because her ex is the star. Graham has no problem keeping a handle on the situation, until he finds himself attracted to Reid's costar, Emma, the girl Reid is pursuing full-throttle with his standard arsenal of charm, good looks and arrogance.

To be honest.. I probably would have never given this book a chance had I not first read Easy also by Tammara Webber, which is fantastic by the way! But really the whole Hollywood bad boy, teenage heart throb just wasn't that interesting to me. I figured though since Easy was so great I'd give her a chance to convince me that she wasn't just gonna be a one hit wonder author in my collection. I will, from here on out, always read anything she writes...without even looking at the summary. I really, really, really liked this book! :)

Reid is your stereotypical Hollywood teen heart throb, parties too much, goes through women like there's no tomorrow, reveling in his fame. Emma is sweet and as normal as a teenage girl can be who has a full time job as an actress. They have great chemistry behind the camera, Reid is dying to find out how good it is off camera as well. Emma's problem is she also finds chemistry with another costar the mysterious, reserved Graham. And she's intrigued by him. But Graham has secrets and things in his past he's trying hard to keep hidden.

I wanted to root for Reid so much at the beginning of the book. I figured someone like Emma was probably just the thing he needed to turn his life around. But he just kept..screwing up and pretty soon just about every action just built up this disgust and hatred inside me. Then there was Graham. The more he appeared the more I liked him. But things just didn't seem right and I couldn't tell if he could be trusted or not.

Like I said it was such a good book and in it things aren't always what they seem..and yet sometimes..they're that and more so. I can't wait to read the next two!!
